The Fairfield Map is Going Mobile
With the help of our new partners at Village Profile, we're updating our ever-popular Fairfield map for the 21st century — and opening up a whole new advertising channel in the process.
Village Profile calls it the Mobile Community Map, a portable online access point to your business.
Using web-enabled cell phones, smart phones, Blackberrys and other mobile devices, people on the move can find you 24/7 in the online Mobile Business Directory and Business Locator Map. This technology is specially designed with mobile devices in mind, but it works just as well for anyone sitting at a desk or relaxing at home — a desktop computer or laptop can be the gateway to your business too.
This is in addition to the thousands of print copies that will be distributed to residents, newcomers, university students, local businesses and visitors. Your ad jumps off the page and lands on the internet, extending your reach to more prospective customers than ever before.
The printed map will be everything it's always been and more — a full-color, detailed street map including points of interest such as schools, hospitals, parks, attractions, residential and commercial development, museums, landmarks and the location of your business. Sponsorship at any level earns complimentary copies to hand out to your own customers.
Call your Village Profile representative Jill Adelman at 215-527-1304 and reserve your space today. Or, contact the Chamber and we'll make sure she gets in touch with you.
Putting yourself on the map has never been easier.

Networking Seminar Fills the House
Debbie Fay's presentation on "Networking That Works" packed the police department's training room with business people eager to exercise their networking muscles. And for the price of one Business After Hours, they got the whole enchilada, the infamous "elevator" speech included.
It was all about face-to-face marketing, and how to stay afloat in a sea of business cards. Good tools for these queasy economic times.
And we fully expect that everyone who attended will give us a demonstration of their New & Improved networking jujitsu at our March Business After Hours on the 25th. Our host is The Bank of Fairfield, and we've asked them to put together a panel of judges to grade your performance. So be on your toes.
